Description:
This course should empower students with eight successul strategies that will meet the continuing and emerging needs of the college student. Students will utilize a motivating, hands-on approach to learning essential life and study skills. In addition, students will identify behaviors and beliefs they may wish to change in order to achieve more of their potential in college and in life. Activities such as creating Academic Success Plans and guided journal entries are designed to build self-awareness and examine the choices sucessful students make. All students who test into any developmental class must take ACS 101 in their first semester.
