Examines women as perpetrators and victims of crime and as criminal justice professionals. Evaluates factors that contribute to women becoming involved with the criminal justice system in each of these capacities and assesses the degree to which the criminal justice system provides women with equitable treatment. Course Information: Same as CRJ 343. This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the areas of ECCE U.S. Communities or ECCE Elective.
