This course will introduce you to artists, writers, and poets who created their works away from their homeland and you will see how their works influenced or did not influence the culture of the country in which they lived and created, You will learn to look at works of art and see them as well as to be able to read a literary work and to understand its depth and complexity, as well as improve your analytical and writing abilities and research and writing skills. Course information: Same as ENG 432 and LIS 432. This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the areas of Global Awareness or ECCE Elective
