Overview of selected aspects of human diversity relevant to American psychology. Examines historical and contemporary psychological perspectives on race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation, as well as factors linked to stereotyping, cultural bias, and prejudice. Special emphasis placed on a critical review of past psychological research and formulation of new research questions. Course Information: Designated Writing Course.
