Designed for bilingual and non-native speakers of English who wish to improve their confidence, fluency, and accuracy in speaking in academic and social environments. Students will improve their listening comprehension of lectures, dialogues and group discussion. This course emphasizes speaking skills such as using more natural pronunciation, intonation, and rhythm and giving short presentations. Course Information: To be taken prior to LNG 101 and COM 112. This course is not designated for transfer credit, nor will credit be given toward a degree.
