This course will focus on American and International copyright law. Copyright is the method by which authors, artists, publishers and others protect their works from being copied and used by "pirates" and plagiarists. This course will appeal to students who are interested in knowing about the law in order to protect their own works, or those who are considering pursuing a career in copyright legal practice.
