Addressing the problem from several perspectives including the natures of science and religion and the characteristics of creationism and scientific evolution. Also addressed are the issues of public policy, First Amendment rights and the courts' decisions. Course Information: This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the areas of ECCE U. S. Communities or ECCE Elective.
