This capstone design course for the Graduate Certificate in Systems Security emphasizes a group approach to security systems design. Student cohort groups will be required to develop a comprehensive security plan based on British Standard 7799. The plans will include operational policies and procedures. Students are also required to design a secure enterprise network including multi-vendor solutions. They will use hardware and software tools to implement firewalls, email system protection, virtual private network management protocol, and remote monitoring.
