Description:
This laboratory will illustrate many of the basic scientific procedures and analyses used in forensic science laboratories. Exercises will include fingerprinting, hair/fiber analysis, soil/glass analysis, PCR and DNA profiling, toxicology, blood spatter analysis, and field tests for blood, semen, and drugs. This optional laboratory to be taken with CLS 315. Course Information: Same as CHE 316. This course, along with CLS 315, fulfills a general education requirement at UIS in the area of Physical Science with a Lab.
