Enhances students' critical thinking and essay writing skills and ensures that they have the skills to write at college level. Operating as a "writing lab," the course includes a considerable amount of in-class writing. Course Information: Prerequisite: Admission to the Capital Scholars Honors Program. Restricted to Capital Scholars Honors students. Passing grade of “C” or better required to progress to CAP 115 and CAP 123. This course fulfills a general education requirement at UIS in the area of Written Communication (IAI Code: C1900R).
