Enhances students' critical thinking and essay writing skills and ensures that they have the skills to write at college level. Operating as a "writing lab," the course includes a considerable amount of in-class writing. Course Information: Prerequisite: Admission to the Capital Scholars Honors Program. Restricted to Capital Scholars Honors students. Passing grade of ā€œCā€ or better required to progress to CAP 115 and CAP 123. This course fulfills a general education requirement at UIS in the area of Written Communication (IAI Code: C1900R).
