Operations management concerns the production and delivery of goods and services. This course focuses on those business processes, procedures and strategies used to transform various inputs into finished goods and services. Focus is on both understanding how the provision of goods is organized and managed and recognizing potential areas of improvement in the management or production of goods and services. Also of major study will be how operations management interfaces with other functional areas and the various issues and problems that traditionally arise in the field of operations management, including those related to technology, globalization, and ethics. Course Information: Prerequisites: Completion of all foundation coursework and completion, or concurrent enrollment in, BUS 501. Peoria Cohort students must complete all prerequisites prior to enrolling in this course. Restricted to Graduate and Doctoral - Springfield and Graduate - Peoria.
