A research effort involving collection and analysis of original data (e.g., field or laboratory experiments). Conducted under supervision of a faculty adviser and advisory committee. Thesis must be approved by the graduate committee. NOTE: If the thesis is not completed by the time eight hours are accrued in BIO 585 in continuing enrollment, students must register for BIO 586 for zero credit hours (one billable hour) in all subsequent semesters until the thesis is complete. Course Information: May be repeated to a maximum of 8 hours. Prerequisite: Permission of Instructor. Restricted to Biology. Restricted to Graduate students.
