A course designed to treat counseling theories and provide actual experience with the counseling process. Counseling approaches from the following systems of personality and therapy will be considered: Reality Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Rogerian Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Psychoanalytic Therapy. Students will participate in a group counseling experience supervised by the Instructor.Prerequisites: PSYC 201, PSYC 411.Credit, three hours.
