Description:
This course is for students serving in the role of peer leader in a Mathematics Workshop course. It will teach students skills required for them to be effective teachers and facilitators of students learning in a group problem-solving setting. The students will work closely with the faculty instructors in the course and will lead problem-solving sessions for groups of 6-8 mathematics students. Prerequisites: Grade of A or B in the mathematics course appropriate for the level of the mathematics workshop class. Credit, one hour.
