The course offers an examination of major behavioral issues in the management of organizations. Topics include power and influence in organizations, conflict management, individual and group behavior, communication, attitudes, values, organizational politics, leadership, motivation, and performance. Students will also discuss factors that influence organizational change, strategies for planned change, the role of organizational culture in the change process, and the development of support systems and structures.Prerequisites: MGMT 320 or HRM 320, MGMT 325.Credit, three hours.
