Philosophical positions that have been underwritten by the various periods of development as well as important theories and concepts are addressed. Additionally, principles relating to the psychological and sociological bases of physical education are covered in this course as well as the role of physical education in schools and society, and socialization of physical educators.Credit, three hours.
