Academic studies in preparation for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) written and oral examination for the Flight Instructor Airplane Certificate. Information covered includes the fundamentals of instruction in classrooms, in one-to-one situations, and in airplane cockpits. Also included is analysis of student performance and evaluation of aviation students in academics, in practical situations, and in the regulatory responsibilities of the Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI). Three (3) hours lecture per week.Prerequisites: AVIA 202.Credit, three hours.
