This course covers the fundamental principles of combustion theory and introduces the use of these principles in different engineering applications such as furnances, automotive engines, gas turbines, and rockets. Topics covered include thermochemistry, fuels, chemical kinetics, conservation equations for reacting flows, premixed and diffusion flames, droplet burning, and pollutant emissions.
