Examines the concepts of theory development, conceptualization and hypothesis formulation across criminal justice fields of practice. The content includes research design, sampling, instrumentation, methods of data collection and analysis as well as descriptive inferential statistics and critical analysis of empirical research. The student will develop an original research project.
