(3:3:0) Prerequisite: Consent of instructor. Graphical presentation of data, histograms, confidence intervals for binomial probabilities, one-sample and two-sample t-test, regression and correlation with two variables, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals, multivariate regression and correlation, partial correlation coefficients, analysis of variance and covariance, multiple comparison procedures. Emphasis on analysis of research data. Not for mathematics, statistics, engineering, or physical science majors; these students should take STAT 5384, 5385.
