Prerequisites: READ 552 and READ 553 and READ 554 and READ 556; and evidence of one of the following: a) an active MA DESE licensure as reading specialist or b) a passing score on the Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure® (MTEL) for Reading Specialist (08) Literacy educators examine, review, analyze and reflect upon their academic and professional development. They conduct and report on an in-depth, systematic investigation of literacy programs and practices. READ 560 is a yearlong companion course to READ 558 and READ 559. May not be audited.
