Prerequisite: Matriculation in the MEd in Reading; or consent of program coordinator Literacy educators explore numerous research traditions and methods, including ethnographic, descriptive, correlational, experimental and multivariate. They develop a research project that demonstrates a fundamental understanding of the methodology, data collection procedures and analysis techniques that are central to a range of research, assessment and instructional perspectives and policy work. May not be audited. Includes 25 hours of fieldwork. Fall semester and summer II.
