Prerequisite: PHED 239 or consent of instructor This course provides students with skills needed to plan, implement and evaluate programs in sport and recreation settings as varied as elementary schools, community centers or university campuses. Emphasis will be placed on program development and the professional development and the professional and administrative duties of an entry-level sport management professional in positions such as intramural director, facility manager and recreation agency coordinator.
