Prerequisite: First Year Seminar 199 or consent of instructor This course will serve as an introduction to the profession of sports management. Students will explore current issues in sport management, the history of the profession and avenues for professional preparation. Students will gain an understanding of the historical evolution of professional sport management practice. Students will become familiar with current issues in the business of sport.
