Prerequisite: High school/middle school teacher of mathematics or science; and admission to the MAT in Mathematics program; or consent of instructor This course contains the mathematical background necessary for a variety of science applications. Topics include linear algebra, statistics, discrete mathematics, geometry, calculus and numerical analysis as well as computer software to enhance their application to problem solving in science.
