Description:
Prerequisite: ARTS 104 and ARTS 216; or consent of instructor Students learn to take still pictures with a professional digital single lens reflex camera, to color manage the workflow and to make fine prints. Covered in the course are digital raw file processing, creative shooting, editing and image manipulation techniques using image-processing software. Students complete a substantial professional portfolio of photography artworks. Project assignments, objectives and requirements will be determined according to the individual student’s background and interests. This course may be repeated two times for nine credits. Six hours per week. Additional fee required.
