Prerequisite: ARTS 361 This course builds upon existing graphic design skills while looking at graphic design through the lens of typography. Students develop a heightened sensitivity toward typographic design through projects in information design, publication design, screen-based applications and motion graphics. Students also experience traditional letterpress printing and learn type classification and history. Six hours per week. Additional fee required.
