Prerequisite: ACFI 341 and completion of 18 credits of graduate course work This capstone course develops an integrated understanding of generally accepted accounting principles along with the underlying concepts of accounting conventions. Emphasis is placed on current developments, recent FASB pronouncements, and the role of the Securities Exchange Commission. Guest speakers augment student presentations and seminar discussions.
