The study of microscopic anatomy dealing with the structures of cells, tissues, and organs, with a focus on their recognition, structural aspects, and basic functions. The course covers light microscopy techniques, cell anatomy, basic tissue types, and common histochemical stains, and applies these to the study of organs as systemic arrangements of tissues performing a specific function, such as respiration, digestion, reproduction, etc. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisites: BIO 131 Human Biology I and BIO 132 Human Biology II.
