Designed to provide professional experience in counseling, this course requires students to work in a community or school counseling setting for a minimum of 300 hours with a qualified on-site supervising professional. This course may be repeated to allow students seeking a license in Community Counseling in states such as Nebraska that require an additional 300 hours of internship experience or by students seeking K-12 school counseling endorsement. Prerequisites: Successful completion of COUN 639A for School Counseling majors and COUN 639A and COUN 639B for Community Counseling majors.
