Treatment issues specifically related to alcohol/drug abuse, dual diagnosis, adult children of alcoholics, denial, the family disease concept, cultural aspects of addiction, various treatment modes (inpatient, outpatient), and applications adjusted to age and gender. Legal and ethical issues, evaluation of the client, diagnostic issues, determination of an effective treatment plan, and personnel required to provide treatment will be included.
