An introduction to the processes required to manage contemporary organizations with a focus on individual behaviors as they relate to the functions of planning, organizing, controlling, and leading. The most recent concepts of behavioral science in the practice of management are presented to assist the student in gaining understanding of the pervasiveness of the discipline in all types of organizations and processes. Topics include motivation, leadership, perceptions, personality theory, learning theory, personnel issues, stress management, organizational culture, and decision making.
