This course provides the student with the opportunity to apply theory-based practice in a simulation laboratory. Scenarios are utilized to encourage the student¿s critical thinking skills, interpretation of laboratory data, pharmacology, and pathophysiology, use of informatics and demonstration of clinical skills. Students are guided in planning, selecting and implementing guided in planning, selecting and implementing therapeutic nursing interventions to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of clients.
