This course is designed to explore a broad range of transporation modes, the role and imporance of transportation systems with emphasis on modal components, the role of third party providers in the transporation marketplace and the role of government regulations that permeate the transporation field. How ERP (enterprise resource planning) and TRP (transporation requirement planning) systems are integrated in the transporation function of firms will also be explored. 3-0-3
