Introduction to the elements of performance that create theater and drama, including text, performer, spectacle, spectator, and performance space. The emphasis is on the analysis of the text, how the text works as part of the performance, and how the text is brought to life in performance. Attendance at Ohio University Theater productions is required. Credit Hours: 3 General Education Code: 2FA Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
