Analysis of purchasing operation’s structure and procedure. Descriptions of quality, quantity, value analysis, sources of supply, and procurement controls. Vendor/buyer relationships, make-or-buy decisions, inventory control, buyer training, materials handling, records, and budgets. Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
