Curriculum and Assessment Design for Language Classrooms. Examine the interplay between curriculum design and classroom assessment. The goals are 1) to familiarize prospective teachers with the terminology and practices underlying curriculum design and classroom assessment; 2) to develop the ability to analyze student needs and propose appropriate changes to curricula; and 3) to construct and implement language tests that reflect curricula.
