Provides the groundwork to prepare teachers of English to speakers of other languages for composition instruction. An examination of the theoretical bases of language acquisition, composing process, and correction/revision strategies that will enable students to plan and demonstrate writing lessons to their peers. Consideration of traditional tests of writing, such as the TOEFL, the WPJ, and innovative forms of evaluation are integrated with syllabus design and text evaluation. Graded: Graded Student.
