Designed to introduce prospective school psychologists to both theory and practice in the assessment of cognitive abilities. Students will be exposed to various approaches to cognitive assessment including information processing, CBA, dynamic, and psychometric. Students will learn to administer and interpret major standardized cognitive assessment instruments including the WISC-R, WAIS-R, Stanford-Binet FE, K-ABC, and others. Lecture. Corequisite: EDS 242B.
