Provides faculty and peer guidance in preparation of material to develop the dissertation proposal. Students will be guided in the clarification of dissertation topic, familiarization with relevant literature, and the development of a sound methodology. Students will learn how to critically analyze and provide constructive criticism to key research components proposed by others. At the end students are expected to complete the first three chapters of their dissertation in anticipation of their dissertation defense. Prerequisite: Passed Ed.D. Qualifying Examination and instructor permission. Graded: Graded Student. Units: 6.0
