Provides a comprehensive insight into the student services. It addresses both practical and theoretical perspectives intended to build a sense of vision and passion to transform the profession of student affairs and leadership. In particular, examines four distinct arenas: 1) historical and philosophical foundations of student affairs and leadership 2) management and organizational issues, 3) essential skills and professional development in building an equitable organization, and 4) the synthesis of practice and theory. Prerequisite: Admission into the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership Program and instructor permission. Graded: Graded Student. Units: 2.0
