Orientation to advanced study in child development designed to introduce students to research in the field. Consists of regular research presentations by program faculty or guest speakers. Students will be assigned related reading by presenters and participate in discussion of the research presented. Professional skills and APA style will be discussed. Note: Together with CHDV 200B, the course serves as a foundation for further study. Prerequisite: Admission to MA Child Development program or instructor permission. Corequisite: CHDV 200B.
