Focus is “development” and its conceptual counterpart “underdevelopment.” Some of the questions we seek to explore are: What is development? How should it be measured? Will all countries eventually follow the development path of the advanced industrial countries? Is income inequality getting better or worse between rich and poor on a global scale?
