Prerequisites: sophomore standing or above Topics on European integration, the historical development of the European Union, eastward expansion, treaties, the Single Market, the EURO, theories of European integration, and challenges facing small states in the EU. This is a four-week summer course offered in a study-abroad format in Portugal. Various field trips and guest lectures will shed light on the impact of EU integration.
