Prerequisites: MTH 211 or enrollment in MAT program Relevant contemporary mathematics investigated through new innovative technologies in an inquiry-based classroom. Explores non-Euclidean geometries, stereographic projection, and the complex plane using dynamic geometry environments, nonlinear dynamical systems using Chaotic Waterwheels, and parametric variation using new hardware infrastructures, as well as multi-dimensional mathematics using graphing software and haptic technology.
