Up to 25 hours pre-practicum Prerequisites: EDU 207, 527; EDU 527 may be taken concurrently; must be taken concurrently with EDU 515 Designed for content integration, this course focusing on the major disciplines of the middle-school curriculum. Lectures and demonstration lessons presented by content specialists from the College of Arts and Sciences are coordinated by an education professor. Students are responsible for the development of content-based lesson planning aligned with the Massachusetts Frameworks along with extensive readings and research presentations focused on the middle-school curriculum and teaching.
