Prerequisites: DES 251 This course emphasizes the power of color: seeing color in action as well as feeling color relatedness. Students will develop and define a general understanding of color by observation and articulation. A thorough exploration and sensitivity to the subtleties of color will be attained by the mixing and painting of gouache. The computer will be used to apply, change, match, and print color.
