Prerequisites: CIS 580 or equivalent, or permission of instructor Sound design methodologies and technologies in development and maintenance of information systems/business systems with special emphasis on workflow management systems. An applied course that emphasizes the formal approach, this course also addresses issues of adaptability and flexibility of information systems and their evaluation. The course supports concurrent execution of information systems during the design stage and adopts and applies various forms of Petri nets.
