Prerequisites: CEN 308 Introduction to the behavior of various two and three dimensional load carrying structural systems and also some means by which the students can compare alternate structural systems. Design concepts, design assumptions, and methods of analysis are stressed. The selection of the optimum system for a particular structure is also discussed. For students interested in a career in structural engineering. Note: Some graduate courses may be open to undergraduates. Please consult your department chairperson.
