Prerequisites: One year each of organic and physical chemistry with grades of C- or better A study of spectroscopic methods of determination of structure of organic compounds, especially infrared, ultraviolet, visible, nuclear magnetic resonance, and mass spectrometry, with extensive applications to individual cases.
